one of “those” days

all got off to a normal and uneventful start until i stepped into my office. i have recently inherited some work from a coworker who is leaving. anyone who has ever been part of this kind of transition knows it takes a while to get up to speed on the new stuff. well…for me it has been baptism by fire. i have a feeling that today is just the tip of the iceberg. i asked the lord this morning to show me what he wants me to learn from this situation. i know there is something! the best part of the day was getting a call from a friend who “unexpectedly” came downtown and wanted to have lunch. god provides our EVERY need! he knew i needed to get out of here. friend thanks for listening, letting me vent, and pointing out the positive hidden behind the chaos!
