the wired generation

before i started school i taught a few internet safety seminars for parents and absolutely loved it. i’m hoping to get this started again soon. if you know of a group of parents that need/want this information let me know. the content i can cover ranges from myspace and facebook to instant messaging and monitoring software. it is very rare to find a book that addresses these topics from a christian perspective but i’ve found a good one. i started a new book yesterday called “Logged On and Tuned Out” by Vicki Courtney. vicki is a great author and has done a phenomenal job covering this increasingly important topic. this is a must read for parents! technology can be intimidating but don’t let fear prevent you from learning about what your kids are doing online. what is your biggest fear related to the internet and technology?
