the kitchen after

24 02 2008

jeff is one amazing painter. he did a fabulous job and the kitchen now looks like it belongs with the rest of the house. it was well worth the money and alot less hassle than doing it myself. i’m officially done painting and only have one closet and bedroom to go. that’s my sunday project.

spiritual transformation

20 02 2008

transformation is the process of changing in form, nature, or function and to change into a different thing. just as our physical bodies are transformed as we grow, our spiritual lives need to change as well. i’ve been challenged repeatedly in the last couple of weeks to be intentional about placing myself in an environment where spiritually i am being transformed. the process of spiritual transformation is both mine and god’s responsibility. i put myself in a position to change and god does the changing from the inside out.

what does spiritual transformation mean to you? in what ways are you being transformed???

what do i do???

14 02 2008

i’ve been asking myself that question alot lately. one of the reasons for my moving is for a challenging job at an incredible organization. as most of you know i’m working for navpress and i absolutely love it! i’m extremely busy and most days there is not enough time for all the work that needs to be done. some days i don’t even know where to start. one of the most appealing things about the job is that it really is a god-sized job. there is no way i can do this alone so when i ask myself what to do i find myself praying and asking the lord to help me know the right thing to do. because what we do is kingdom work i know he will give me wisdom and discernment. so if by any chance you are wondering how to pray for me here’s some of my god-sized tasks i’m working on….

  • leading launch of a new product
  • developing direct marketing strategies
  • redesigning a direct mail campaign
  • learning the circulation business
  • gathering requirements for our new magazine pages
