flipping and landing nowhere

27 08 2008

so i’m in new hampshire trying to recover from what has already been a long week. i’ve launched a website, traveled to the each coast and survived day one of a training class. all i wanted to do is catch up on some work at my hotel and watch some mindless tv. i’ve gotten the work done but the tv thing has been horrible. with limited selection, my choices were reduced to the democratic national convention and america’s got talent. totally not interested in the convention and the talent show just had dancing mascots and 3 kids singing the monkees. it must be a sign for me to go to bed!

3 He forgives all your sin; He heals all your diseases.
4 He redeems your life from the Pit; He crowns you with faithful love and compassion.
5 He satisfies you with goodness; your youth is renewed like the eagle.
Psalms 103:3-5 (HCSB)

3 He forgives your sins—every one. He heals your diseases—every one.
4 He redeems you from hell—saves your life! He crowns you with love and mercy—a paradise crown.
5 He wraps you in goodness—beauty eternal. He renews your youth—you’re always young in his presence.
Psalms 103:3-5 (MSG)

i love this passage of scripture right now they are just want i needed. it’s amazing how the word of god can speak right to the soul and brings peace even in the madness of life. there has been no changes in my circumstances but i’m at rest in who he is!

there goes the sun

15 08 2008

colorado springs has over 300 days of sun but today was definitely not one of them. thick clouds hung over the mountains and it rained for most of the day. the biggest shock was the temperature…a brisk 50 degrees. isn’t it still august??? i acutally had to wear a sweatshirt in the house. tomorrow is more of the same so errands tomorrow is sure to be wet and cold. i guess fall in colorado is on it’s way!
